New Event Name, Expanded Options!

The CATA is expanding its popular fall consumer test-drive event with a new name, new branding and an even broader vehicle lineup. Formerly known as Chicago Drives Electric, the event has evolved into Chicago Auto Show: Behind the Wheel, reflecting its expanded focus to include all powertrains.

Taking place October 1-4 in Oakbrook Terrace, the immersive test-drive experience will give consumers the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the latest cars, trucks and SUVs from participating manufacturers. In addition to all-electric vehicles, attendees will be able to test drive hybrid, plug-in hybrid and traditional gas-powered models, offering a more comprehensive look at the vehicles available in today's marketplace.
