Facilities & Meeting Rooms
Chicago Auto Trade Association headquarters in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
The well-used building is exceptionally workable for groups who wish to utilize meeting rooms and a large "showroom" atrium to display their vehicles. The high ceilings and large windows provide a dramatic backdrop for walk-around orientations and sales presentation training.
The rooms are available at no charge to CATA members and range from two small conference rooms that each seat up to twelve to the main salons with accommodations for more than 250 people in theater-style seating. Offices also are available to dealers who wish to conduct interviews in confidence, away from their dealerships. Catering is available for breakfasts, lunches or dinners, as is full audio-visual equipment for group presentations.
Due to the popularity of the building, the CATA asks that groups wising to stage events or training in it should book ahead to ensure availability. CATA members wishing to book conference rooms should contact Pam Grace at 630-495-CATA.
The centerpiece of the building’s first floor are the salons - 2,600 square feet of space, capable of accommodating up to 110 people seated classroom style or up to 250 people seated theater style. Designed to adapt to a variety of needs, the salons are equipped with built-in 7-foot screens and dataports for computer training.
Adding to its versatility, a soundproof wall can be used to divide the room or may be left open for larger events. The entryway’s glass-enclosed atrium can be used to display up to three vehicles for new-car showings.
Dedicated in November 1997, the CATA's headquarters building has grown to become the focal point of meetings and training for the association's more than 800 members.
Line associations, area dealer associations, manufacturers and zone personnel find the facility's six main conference areas to be meeting-friendly and the building location easily accessible from anywhere in the greater Chicago area.
A fully equipped kitchen allows off-site caterers to service your breakfast, lunch or dinner meeting. On the second floor is an elegant boardroom which can accommodate a meeting for 26, and two comfortable conference rooms, suitable for up to 12 people. Additional private offices round out the many options for CATA members.
